In this role, I led the first AI labs team at my company. We focused on building AI augmented tools to either enable employees to do more with their time or to simplify/automate parts of their manual workflows. To date, our production products have generated more than $2 million in annual incremental revenue through new editorial capabilities, saved thousands of hours in employee time, and resulted in notable improvements in the quality of metadata for production assets.
Here I created cutting edge, innovative advertising products for our largest advertising clients. I also owned a cross-retailer product and inventory database of the largest retailers in the US, enabling near real-time APIs to be used for highly engaging and relevant advertisements that could be offered to users and allowing direct carting of those products at their local retailer of choice.
Created and taught curriculum for Python and Advanced Python based computer science courses. Created and taught a three course data science certificate.
Created user experience products using content information. Managed and updated the user registration platform used by 30+ brand sites.
Built a cross-site and standalone online subscription ordering platform and client facing system for the largest magazine subscription company in the US. This product line accepted credit card, PayPal, and Amazon Payments in a secure way. It also managed subscription management, automatic renewals, and customer service. Today, it is the largest magazine subscription site in the United States and can be seen at www.magazines.com
